After he was banned for two years by the International Cricket Council, on Tuesday, Bangladeshi cricketer Shakib Al Hasan said that he will make a comeback, hopefully, if he continues to receive the support of his fans, his country's cricket board, government, etc.
He was banned for failing to report three approaches by bookies to engage in corrupt conduct. The world-class cricketer will not play any form of cricket till 2021.
When the ICC's Anti-Corruption Code investigators came to question him, Shakib extended his cooperation to them. The ICC and the Bangladesh Cricket Board have appreciated him for that. The BCB expressed shock that the 32-year-old player didn't report the issue to the ICC.
Known for his strong outward persona, Shakib famously broke down in 2012 when his team lost to Pakistan in the finals of Asia Cup.
