Actor Nagarjuna has received notices from Andhra Bank for failing to clear the loan of Rs 37 crore. The bank also slapped a legal case against Nagarjuna's Annapurna Studios and claimed it as a willful defaulter.

Nagarjuna along with his niece Supriya Yarlagadda, brother Akkineni Venkat and businessman Nimmagadda Prasad and sister Naga Suseela have taken a loan with the bank long ago and reportedly not cleared it, says sources. The bank authorities also allege that Nagarjuna also took a loan of about Rs 65 crore from other banks such as Indian bank and Axis bank and evaded it without paying a penny.

The bank officials are exploring options to augment the case with special powers and are in deliberations with RBI on the same.
