Thursday, January 1, 1970 • Malayalam Comments

For all those cinephiles who laments that Malayalam cinema is not going places, this seems to be an interesting answer. The new age filmmakers are virtually going places to shoot their new endeavours. 'Bangkok Summer' is one such film, directed by technocrats of Mollywood  Pramod-Pappan team, who had canned majority of this  movie at Bangkok. The directors Pramod and Pappan have already made a few films like 'Thaskaraveeran', 'Vajram' and 'Black Stallion'.

Featuring a bunch of newcomers, mostly models in its cast lines, the movie will have a thrilling story by Rajesh Jayaraman focusing on love, betrayal and money. Jayakrishnan, the hero in the Tamil version of `Nandhanan' will debut through the movie while  Rahul of Brook bond ads  & Richa Panai famous for Bhima ads will come up in other lead roles of the movie.

The movie will be a thrilling but heart touching story about the search of an youth in Bangkok, to find his long lost brother.

Jayakrishnan appear as  Madhavan who finds clues about his brother in Bangkok and goes on in search of his brother Sreehari, in this big city that he hardly know much about. The movie pans on the difficult and different experiences that he goes through while he is in his journey to get back his brother.

The highlight of the movie includes stunt scenes directed by Hollywood technicians, taken with the aid of modern technologies and vehicle chases that will make an effective impression among the youth. The music of the movie is by Ouseppachan while Renjith does the editing.

'Bangkok Summer' produced by Jobby George under the banner of Joel Cine Lab and is ready for release.
