Movies that celebrate male friendship have been around for a long time, but true bromance films have come into being only in the last couple of years. Audiences got taste of the bromance genre for the first time with Excel Entertainment's 'Dil Chahta Hai' in India. The banner has been taking the genre to various heights through films like 'Dil Chahta Hai', 'Rock On', 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara', 'Fukrey' and now 'Bangistan'.

Maybe it has to with the fact that Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar have been best of friends and then business partners. The choice of this genre stems for their friendship.

Said Ritesh Sidhwani, "Bangistan is about 2 unlikely people finding themselves & eventually becoming buddies in the most unusual circumstances through their journey. It's funny and quirky and both Riteish and Pulkit have enjoyed while shooting the film which translates onscreen."

Added director Karan Anshuman "Bangistan makes for a most unlikely bromance because the lead characters are opposite and antithetical in every manner, making their journey a real... blast."

'Banigstan' is a fun film about two blunder terrorist who are on a mission to change the world. Starring Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat the film has situational comedy.
