On Sunday, Bandla Ganesh withdrew his support to the Prakash Raj-led panel ahead of the MAA elections. He gave the reason that he can't be a part of a team that has Jeevitha Rajasekhar in it. Ganesh said that Jeevitha has in the past spoken out against Chiranjeevi, of whom he is a follower.

Reacting to Ganesh's remarks, Jeevitha stated that she won't back down. "His remarks are silly. He is raking up an irrelevant issue. It's true that we had differences with Chiranjeevi garu's family in the past. However, that's a thing of the past. We have long buried the hatchet," Jeevitha told a TV channel.

Jeevitha confirmed that she will be running for the post of General Secretary this time as stated earlier. "I spoke with Prakash Raj garu and felt that I should be a part of his panel. GS is a key post. I have served MAA as a GS for two years already. My experience has taught me to work with the members closely. Prakash Raj garu is accessible and sensible. That's why I am a part of his panel," Jeevitha added.

She clarified that she has nothing against Ganesh. "I am no enemy of Bandla Ganesh. Our family knows him well. He is a successful person. Everyone can contest for MAA elections. I am not bothered about who is supporting us or is against us," Jeevitha said.
