Bandla Ganesh's 'Degala Babji': Release date announced

Bandla Ganesh-starrer 'Degala Babji' has locked its release date. The remake will hit the screens on May 20. The film was shot last year and has been waiting for the right time to be released in theatres.
An investigative procedural helmed by debutant Venkat Chandra, the movie is a single-actor film. Announcing the release today, the makers unveiled a monochrome poster in which the protagonist is seen in various moods. He has emoted the Navarasas like a versatile actor, the poster suggests. Ganesh, who has been a producer and businessman, has played his career's most defining character.
A remake of the acclaimed Tamil-language outing 'Oththa Seruppu Size 7', 'Degala Babji' is going to have a noteworthy theatrical release. The original starred R Parthiban in the lead.
With music by Lynus Madiri, the film has cinematography by Arun Devineni. The former seems to have given a mood-driven BGM, while the latter has done a fine job with the indoor shoot. Gandhi Nadikudikar has designed the set. SB Uddhav has taken care of editing.
