Bandla Ganesh has on Friday declared that he is no longer associated with any political party. "I am quitting politics due to personal reasons. I thank Rahul Gandhi garu and Uttam Kumar Reddy garu for giving me the opportunity to serve.
I am no longer with any political party (from today). I urge anybody who may have been hurt by my comments as Congress party's spokesperson to please forgive me with a big heart," the actor-turned-producer-turned-politician said.
On Thursday, he hailed Pawan Kalyan and said that he wants to see the Jana Sena chief as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.
Before last year's Telangana assembly elections, Bandla famously said that he will commit suicide using 7'0 clock blade if the Congress party doesn't come to power. His association with Congress, the sinking ship, was very brief.
