Bandla Ganesh has withdrawn from the MAA race. He had announced that he will be running for the post of General Secretary. On Friday, the actor-producer declared that he is withdrawing from the race.

Ganesh today announced that he is going to support the Prakash Raj panel. Earlier this month, the 'Gabbar Singh' producer had criticized Prakash Raj for welcoming Jeevitha Rajasekhar into his panel. Jeevitha's previous criticism of Chiranjeevi didn't go down well with Ganesh.

"I hereby withdraw my nomination for the post of General Secretary elections which are going to be held on October 10. You are hence requested to treat my nomination as cancelled as I am no longer interested in contesting the Elections. Inconvenience caused is regretted," Ganesh wrote in a letter to MAA.

Ganesh withdrew the nomination as per the advice of his friends and well-wishers.
