Mani Ratnam's film with Karthi is one of the most talked-about projects, now that Karthi's market in Telugu has only increased after Oopiri. The film will go on the floors in September. The news is that Bandla Ganesh has acquired the Telugu version's rights of this prestigious film, which has music by AR Rahman.

Parameswara Arts has of late been involved in bringing out quality cinema. In recent times, it has acquired the remake rights of the Malayalam film, Two Countries. With Mani Ratnam's untitled film falling in his kitty, Parameswara Arts can boast of this new feather in the cap.

The film will hit the screens in 2017.
