"Balu is a young guy who works in a band troop and attracts all with his energetic songs.He wins in a contest organised by a TV channel and gets a chance to spend a day with a beautiful heroine. How did that incident changed his life? Do they both meet or not? Should be seen on the screen", said Chinthalapudi Venkat, the director of 'Band Balu'.

Kamal and Kamna Jetmalini are the lead pair in this film. B.Kamalakara Reddy is producing this movie under Kamal Pictures banner and Buchepalli Venakayamma is presenting it.

The director said,"We have completed the shoot in time. Three songs were shot here and two in Thailand. Chinna's music will be the asset of this movie. The R.R. will be started next week and the songs will be released soon. We are planning to release the movie in the last week of May or in the first week of June".

Executive Producer Praveen Chandra said,"The movie went to the sets after 6 months of perfect script work. The pair of Kamal and Kamna is very good. Benerjee had done a good role. The movie has all the elements like comedy and sentiment".

Hero Kamal said that the director and music director have done an excellent work and seemed confident of the success of the movie.

Chandra Mohan, M.S.Narayana, Giribabu, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, Annapurna, Ragini etc played the other key roles.
