Ban Sunny Leone, say die-hard activists

Sunny Leone is scheduled to dance for three numbers during a cultural event in Bengaluru on November 3. The Bollywood actress will jive at a star hotel.

Certain pro-Kannada groups are vociferously opposing this show. They are saying that Sunny should be banned from performing anywhere in Karnataka. "It's against the culture of the state to let her perform here. We will carry out protests against her show not only in our state but also in the neighbouring Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu," a die-hard Kannada activist has been quoted as saying.

As of now, the state government has not banned the show. It may be noted that, only last December, the Home Minister had banned Sunny's New Year event because of the protestations by Kannada groups. This time, it's hoped that the government won't budge citing law and order problems.
