'BAN': Rs. 6 Cr went into just two sets

  • IndiaGlitz, [Tuesday,April 17 2018]

Producer DVV Danayya is on record stating that Rs. 6 Cr went into erecting two sets for the film 'Bharat Ane Nenu'.  What are they?

For the 'Vachadayyo Saami' song, whose promo is out, a temple set was built at a cost of Rs. 4 Cr.  This is phenomenal, considering the set was used just for this one song.  Another Rs. 2 Cr was invested on putting up a true-to-life Assembly set.

It's counter-intuitive that, for a political drama, a temple set cost more than the seat of power!

The producer has also said that 'BAN' hardly has any political satires.  Koratala Siva recently said that Mahesh Babu's character in the movie is more complex than Srimanthudu's Harsha.
