Actress Nayanthara and Actor Prakash Raj will have to face a one year ban from acting in Telugu films. The decision taken by Telugu Film Directors Union to ban these two actors has been made official now.

It is being reported that Nayanthara failed to attend the promotional events including the audio launch of the Telugu film 'Anamika' the remake of Bollywood film ‘Kahani’ in which she had played the lead role played by Vidya Balan in the original. Hence the ban has been imposed on her after conducting an enquiry.

Ban on Prakash Raj has been imposed since the National award winning actor verbally abused one of the co-directors in the shooting spot of Mahesh Baby starrer 'Agaadu.' Though Prakash Raj denied abusing anyone and said that he opted out of the film only due to creative differences with its director, an enquiry conducted by the Director’s union has found that the complaint of the co-director holds good.

Readers are expected to share their opinion on the ban of these two celebrated artiste’s and also whether the reason cited for the ban are valid.
