And Madhavan, who initially tried to buy peace through Nadigar Sangam, managed to get the ban removed by playing the advocate himself.

Understanding that the issue was being stretched needlessly,Madhavan yesterday drove straight to Producers' Council and tendered an explanation for his alleged remarks made against the producers in an interview to a vernacular magazine.

It may be recalled that the producers Council pulled up Madhavan for his interview to a weekly in which he said all Tamil film producers are not trust worthy and cheated.Agitated by his remarks, the Producers' Council issued a red card on him and sought an explanation.

Following which, Maddy appeared before the Council and gave his explanation. Pleased with it, the ban on Maddy was finally revoked.
