Ban on Jothika- Vadivelu lifted

The ban on Jothika and Vadivelu by the Producers Council has been lifted.
Jothika who refused to act in Manikanta opposite Arjun stating that she has to be paid her present wages while the producer K Balu who booked her three years ago was not willing to do so. In a mediation effort by Sarath Kumar the producer and the actress agreed to bury their differences.
Vadivelu who took Rs 2 lakhs as advance payment from GV films could not act in the film but did not return the advance money. Vadivelu paid a part of the money and agreed to pay the rest in due course
