'Ban Divya Spandana'

A call to ban Divya Spandana has been made by Hindu outfits following the actress not taking part in a protest organized by South India Film Artistes Association.

According to a Hindu outfit, 'the actress who hails from Karnataka did not take part in a protest organized by Nadigar Sangam on the Hogenakkal issue. The controversial issue became a big issue in Tamilnadu and protests were organized by several organizations.

Recently, the Nadigar Sangam led by Sarath Kumar organized a fast protest on the issue and several actors attended it. Rajinikanth's speech in the issue hogged limelight and he was drawn in to a controversy.

Divya Spandana, who is acting a slew of Tamil films including ‘Varanam Aayiram’ did not take part. Hence a section of Hindu outfit has urged the Nadigar Sangam to ban the actress from doing anymore Tamil films.
