BAN collections jumped big on Tuesday: Makers

"After grossing Rs. 161.28 crores in its first week across the globe, 'Bharat Ane Nenu' entered the second week amid great momentum.  And we are happy that our film raked in Rs. 180 crores in ten days of its run, throwing up decent figures on its second Monday too," a statement from DVV Entertainments says.  As we reported yesterday, the Mahesh Babu entertainer's 10-day share is Rs. 91.40 crores.

The statement further adds, "The collections jumped huge on the May Day (May 1st) and we expect the film to touch the magical mark of Rs. 200 crores soon. Right from multiplexes to the single screens, 'BAN' has been super strong in all the regions of its release."

What about Overseas territory, especially the US?  "The collections have been rock solid across the circles of overseas and the movie is gearing up to touch the magical mark of 3.5 million USD in the USA and emerge as the second highest Tollywood grosser over there," the production house informs.

Directed by Koratala Siva, the film hit the screens on April 20.
