The film Romeo Julet was launched on April 14 with a formal Pooja in a temple in Chennai. It is to be considered as an auspicious start for the film that brings the Jayam Ravi and Haniska whose chemistry was well appreciated in the breezy romantic entertainer, Engeyum Kadhal directed by Prabhu Deva.

Romeo Juleit will be directed by Lakshmanan, a former assistant of S.J.Suryah who inaugurated the shooting of the film in the same temple.

The film will be produced by S.Nandhagopal’s Madras Entertainments who have earlier produced films like Machakkaran and Newtonin Moondram Vidhi. D.Imman has been roped in to score music and Soundararajan will handle the camera.
