With director Boyapati Srinu confirming that Nandamuri Balakrishna will indeed be seen as an Aghora for a brief time in his upcoming movie with the 'NTR: Mahanayakudu' actor, the Hindupur MLA's fans are both excited and a bit nervous.
What excites them is that their favourite star will be seen in an unconventional role in the movie. "What is crucial is how such a character is designed and presented. I stumbled upon this idea of presenting Balayya as an Aghora when I wanted to go out of the comfort zone and do something in contrast to 'Simha' and 'Legend'. The set-up of the character will be entirely new," Boyapati tells a TV channel. This sounds quite promising.
However, Balayya's fans are tensed because unconventional roles haven't really worked for the Nandamuri Nata Lion in recent years. Moreover, Boyapati went over-the-top in presenting Ram Charan's character in 'Vinaya Vidheya Rama', which proves that the director needs to be all the more cautious now.
Be that as it may, the project is one of the most important ones being made in the Telugu film industry. "Balayya doesn't wait for the box-office verdict to know the result of his movies. He can guess it even while doing a film," Boyapati says.
The film, which is yet to be titled, will be shot after the lockdown.
