Balakrishna will release the theatrical trailer of Guntur Talkies. The film owes its popularity and hype due to the name of Praveen Sattaru, who won the National Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu for Chandamama Kathalu.

Siddu Jonnalagadda, Naresh Vijaykrishna, Rashmi Gautam, Shraddha Das, Lakshmi Manchu, Mahesh Manjrekar, and others are the main cast. Produced on RK Studios banner by M Rajkumar, the trailer will be released on Feb 3.

"My responsibility has increased because my previous film won a National Award. Rajkumar has not compromised anywhere. Besides being a film with a social conscience, Guntur Talkies is a fast-paced, all-out comedy caper. Mahesh Manjrekar is playing the villain's role. Every character is funny," Sattaru said.

"Ninety per cent of the film was shot in Hindupuram and surrounding areas. All through, the people of Hindupuram extended their co-operation to us. Our film is a comedy caper from word go," the producer said.

Music is by Sri Charan Pakala. Editing is by Dharmendra. Cinematography is by Rami Reddy. Sattaru has written the story as well as screenplay.
