While there were rumours that the release date of 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' would be advanced by one day so as to clash with 'Khaidi No. 150', Krish's tweet has come as a matter of rebuttal. "This #Sankranthi two legends are coming to entertain us with their landmark films. Let us all welcome both by trending #Jan11Khaidi #Jan12GPSK," he has tweeted.

This is perhaps the first time that the director of one big hero is promoting the film of another rival hero in the same breath.

Only yesterday, Ram Charan did the same by wishing Krish and Balakrishna all the best. In fact, Chiru decided the release date to be Jan 11th after 'GPSK's release was confirmed to be on the 12th.

This is a healthy sign that the makers are making sure that the mood is not hysterical ahead of the release of two of the most-awaited movies. When the 'Khardar' remark made by Krish during the audio release of 'GPSK' created ruckus, he issued a clarification that it was an expression of angst at the neglect of the history of the Telugus.
