Tamil director AL Vijay is reportedly going to make a biopic on J Jayalalitha, the late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Script works are going on.
As per the latest buzz, Bollywood actress Vidya Balan will essay the role of the late AIADMK leader in the big-ticket biopic. She has been approached for the challenging role, much to her glee. Vidya is currently playing NT Rama Rao's wife in Balakrishna-starrer 'NTR'.
And Aravind Swamy, the 'Dhruva' villain, will essay the role of MG Ramachandran in this flick.
Once the script works are completed, the makers will approach Jaya's family members to seek their permission. The cast and crew of the project will be announced on February 24, which is Jaya's 'Jayanthi'.
Besides this project, two other biopics on Jaya are being made. One of them stars Nithya Menen as the main actress. The other one is being directed by Bharathi Raj.
