Nandamuri Balakrishna has reacted on the Nandi controversy in a diplomatic language. Saying that 'Legend' was a team effort, he suggested that the film deserves the 9 state awards that it won, including in the coveted Best Actor, Best Director and Best Film categories.
"Mataltho kadu.. Chethalatho choopinchina cinema Legend," the TDP leader has said while reminding everyone how the title had sparked off a controversy. The 'Jai Simha' actor has congratulated all the award-winners.
His comments are unlikely to put an end to the ongoing row.
His 102nd movie, directed by KS Ravikumar and also starring Nayanthara and Natasha Doshi, will hit the screens on Jan 12, two days after Pawan Kalyan's 'Agnathavasi'.
