Nandamuri Balakrishna on Monday attended an event of 'Sehari', an upcoming Telugu-language movie. Speaking at the event, the Nata Simha spoke about the coronavirus crisis and said that the virus won't go away.
"This virus is not going to go away. There hasn't been a vaccine so far. I am sure that there won't be a vaccine for coronavirus in the future, too," the 'Legend' actor said, sounding more confident than ever.
"I believe in the power of mantra. People are wrongly advising everyone to take bath with cold water. Never do that during coronavirus. Don't worry about 'punyam' and all in this phase of the pandemic. Take bath with hot water. Gurgle salt water twice a day. We are going to be healthy if we take all the precautions," the actor, who is currently doing a film with Boyapati Srinu, wrote.
He emphasized the power of mantras and faith in God. "I have been propagating this view," the 'Simha' actor said.
Balayya said that a cancer-stricken woman who was rejected treatment by a number of hospitals were treated at the Basavatharakam Cancer Hospital for free. "We admitted her despite knowing that she may have contracted the virus. After two weeks of isolation, she was diagnosed with Meningitis. She went into a coma after surgery. We took care of her and she got cured. She is doing fine now because of her inner strength and healthcare. We have to accept that coronavirus is going to be with us for too long," Balayya added.
