"I am okay with any good candidate proposed by MAA. But Balakrishna garu has never been the President. If a senior like him becomes the President, it would be wonderful," Vishnu said, adding that he might be involved in the MAA depending on his other commitments.
The actor, who is doing Sreenu Vaitla's 'D&D' currently, is also one of the contestants for the top post. But he will step aside if a unanimous candidate is proposed by the MAA. Already, Prakash Raj, Hema and Jeevitha are also in the race.
Earlier this month, Vishnu said that he and his family members have always been there for the film industry. "Seven years ago, when I was the Executive Vice President of MAA, I promised in the presence of (late) ANR garu that I and my family will donate 25% of the funds needed for the construction. I am now saying we will give 100%," the actor said. MAA is looking for land to be allotted for the building by the government.
