Nandamuri Balakrishna has finally zeroed in on the 100th film. As has been speculated that it will be either Krishna Vamsi or Krish, the film has gone to Krish. Based on the legend of the Satavahanas, the historical drama will be produced by Krish himself. Some media reports suggest that a friend of Krish will co-produce the expensive film.

The film will be launched on April 8, the auspicious day of Ugadi. There are reports that the annoucement will be made in Dharanikota, which is near Amaravathi. The regular shoot will start on April 22. It has to be seen whether the film will release in this year itself and whether Mokshagna will debut with this one.

It will be interesting to see Balakrishna being directed by a director known for his maverick take and technical finesse.
