Balakrishna starrer Dictator, which is shaping up under the direction of Sriwass is touted to be one of the most awaited films of the tinsel town. The actor will be seen as a mafia don in this action entertainer which also features Anjali and Legend girl Sonal Chauhan as the leading ladies. Many doubts cloud over the release of the film. Reports were doing rounds that the film which was initially scheduled to lock horns with NTR Jr's upcoming action entertainer Nannaku Prematho is unlikely to make it for Pongal.

Sources say, several big-wigs from the industry have jumped into the scene and are in talks with the makers of both the films to avert a possible clash at the box office. While the NTR starrer is progressing at rapid pace, Balakrishna`s Dictator is progressing at snail`s pace owing to the actor`s political commitments. In all probability, Dictator may hit the screens only in February, says the buzz. However, the PR machinery of Balakrishna maintains that the film will hit the screens as scheduled and director Sriwass, who is also producing the film, is wrapping up the shooting with two separate units. We have to wait for some more days to get clarity on these release dates.
