Actress Anjali, who is on a roll with the stupendous success of Dictator, has earned an opportunity to romance Balakrishna in his 100th film, says the buzz. The Geethanjali starlet is in contention to play the leading lady opposite Balakrishna yet again in Aditya 999, a sequel to the latter`s own film Aditya 369. Billed to be a socio-fantasy entertainer, the film will be directed by veteran filmmaker Singeetham Srinivasa Rao.
Of late, Anjali has carved a niche for herself in Tollywood with her quintessentially natural and impeccable talent. With her chemistry alongside Balayya in Dictator striking a chord with the audience, it is learnt that Simha actor himself has suggested her name to Singeetham for the female lead role, says a source.
"Balakrishna is known to repeat hit combinations. He shares wonderful onscreen chemistry with the likes of Simran and Nayanthara. And now Anjali is his lucky charm. Apparently, the actress is in the wish list for Balakrishna's much-vaunted 100th movie," adds a source close to the actor. An official confirmation is awaited from the makers.
