U certificate for Tamil film with the word 'intercourse'

Director Balaji Tharanitharan of 'Naduvula Konjma Pakkatha Kanom' fame has completed his second film 'Oru Pakka Kathai' which is ready to release months back. Several weeks ago, it was revealed that the film was denied Censor certification as the film carried the word 'Intercourse'. The officials demanded that the word be muted in order to give censor certificate. However the makers were not ready to mute the word as it is very important for the subject the film deals with. Pahlaj Nihlani was the Chairman of the Film certification board when the certificate for the film.
Last month Pahlaj Nihlani was replaced by Prasoon Joshi as the Chairman, Now 'Oru Pakka Kadhai' has been certified with a clean U certificate and the term 'Intercourse' has been retained.
'Oru Pakka Kathai' stars Kalidas Jayaram and Megha Akash in lead roles. We can expect the announcement on the film's release date very soon.
