Balaji Shaktivel defends Kadhal

Balaji Shaktivel has denied that Kadhal has projected St JosephÂs convent in Madurai in a bad light. He pointed out that he has not shot in the said convent at all. Women and girls have liked the film and no where there is vulgarity or projection of the school girl in a bad light. He was confident that he would be able to convince the court about his feelings. He was reacting to a court notice based on a petition filed by the convent asking for Rs 20 lakhs compensation for using the name of the convent.
