The director who gave us films like ‘Kadhal’ and ‘Kalloori’ is back at work. Balaji Sakthivel has started shooting his forthcoming venture ‘Vazhakku En 18/09’ in and around Dharmapuri and has even completed canning some important scenes.

Interestingly, the camera cinematographer Vijay Milton using for this film is not the usual one. It is a new model still camera by Canon, which comes with an option for movie recording.

“With complete support from Balaji Sakthivel and director Lingusamy who is producing the film, I initially used the camera as an experiment. We later decided to continue with it since the output is good,” Vijay Milton says.

On his part, Balaji Sakthivel says, “Happy to direct a film like ‘Vazhakku En 18/09’ and to work with people like Vijay Milton and Lingusamy. All three of us share one thing in common- try to do things in a different way.”
