Balaji Sakthivel joins Maniratnam's next!

Director Balaji Sakthivel who had started his career assisting director Shankar, had started off with Vikram starrer Samurai, and later made realistic films like Kadhal, Kalloori and had last made Vazhakku En 18/9. The director is currently ready with two movies, Yaar Ivargal and Ra Ra Rajasekar.
On the other hand, Balaji Sakthivel has turned to acting as well, and is set to make his debut with Dhanush starrer Asuran. Directed by Vetrimaran, Asuran will have Balaji Sakthivel playing the role of an evil police officer, and even before the release of Asuran, he has bagged his next acting project.
Balaji Sakthivel has been roped in to play an important role in director Maniratnam's next production Vaanam Kottatum. Directed by Dhana, the movie stars Vikram Prabhu, Madonna Sebastian, Aishwarya Rajesh, Shanthanu, Radhika and Sarathkumar.
