In the video, Kalpika Ganesh sincerely apologizes to actress Dhanya Balakrishnan and director Balaji Mohan for falsely accusing them and defaming them on her social media platforms. She admits that her accusations were baseless and untrue, expressing deep regret for the damage caused to their reputation, their families, fans, and followers. Kalpika promises never to speak about Dhanya and Balaji in a negative manner in the future.

Balaji Mohan also withdrew his Madras High Court petition against Kalpika. Social media removed his slanderous videos. The judge ordered Kalpika to keep her apology video on social media and not deactivate her accounts. The actress reportedly followed court orders.

In December, Kalpika Ganesh revealed Balaji Mohan's secret marriage to Dhanya Balakrishnan and accused him of controlling her and hurting her acting career. Balaji filed a court petition claiming that Kalpika's slanderous videos had damaged their personal and marital life. Balaji Mohan's first wife was his childhood sweetheart. They divorced after a year.
