Popular RJ Balaji who has his own fan following thanks to his slots in a private FM channel has already acted in comical roles in 'Theeya Vela Seyyanum Kumaru' and 'Vadacurry'. Now Balaj, the man of wit has got to work with a bigger team.

Balaji will be seen in an important role in Vijay Sethupathi-Nayanthara starrer 'Naanum Rowdydhaan' that is being directed by Vignesh Sivan of 'Poda Podi' fame. More interesting to note is that the film is being produced by actor Dhanush under his Wunderbar Films banner and his lucky mascot Anirudh will be scoring the music.

Balaji himself has confirmed the news saying "“Shooting for#NaanumRowdyDhaan with a super friendly Vijay Sethupathi and my dear friend Vignesh Shivan.! Happy!!” in his social networking page.
