We broke the news first to you earlier that the shooting of Bala's 'Vanangaan' will begin in Kanyakumar from March 9th onwards. Action hero Arun Vijay has replaced Suriya as the male lead and G. V. Prakash Kumar has been retained as the music director.

It is well known that Bala already shot for forty days with Suriya as the hero but the duo who are close friends offscreen decided to drop the project due to creative differences. Young Telugu actress Krithi Shetty was on board as the female lead and shot for several scenes with Suriya but now she has also been replaced.

According to reliable sources Bala has chosen young actress Roshni Prakash as the new female lead of 'Vanangaan'. The 29 year old Kannada actress has already acted in the Tamil movies 'Yemaali' starring Samuthirakani and 'Jada' opposite Kathir. The official announcements regarding the exciting project will be out this week ahead of the commencement of the reshoot.
