“I am clueless why Tamil directors don’t find me apt to their films. At the same time, Malayalam filmmakers are giving me chances again and again. I have acted in 22 Mollywood movies so far,” says Bala.

The ‘Anbu’ and ‘Kadhal Kisukisu’ actor says, “I hail from a family which has its roots in cinema. My grandfather ran the famous Arunachalam Studios and was instrumental behind the debut of many popular directors and actors.”

Saying he is getting ready to enter wedlock, Bala adds: “I am in love with singer Amrutha. Our wedding will take place with the blessings of elders in both the families in September this year.”

The actor has plans to make it big in Tamil. “I will start acting in a Tamil film after my marriage. The movie will be produced by myself and directed my elder brother Siva. It is a love story with ingredients that appeal to youngsters.”
