The audio launch event of Actor Vishal’s second film as a Producer, Naan Sigappu Manidhan was held amidst much fanfare this morning. The films directed by Thiru stars Vishal and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles while Iniya and Jagan play other important roles. This is also the first film of Music composer G.V.Prakash to work with Vishal.

National award winning director Bala who directed Vishal in the 2011 film Avan Ivan was one of the celebrity guests who attended the event. Bala surprised the audience by speaking a little long which goes against his usual practice when it comes to audio launch events.

Since the film deals with Narcolepsy a rare sleeping disorder, Bala said Vishal and Thiru have purposefully got inspiration for the character from him. He revealed that he tends to sleep often and never misses to have a nap even during the one hour break he gets during the shoots. The Paradesi director also said that there are so many instances of shooting getting delayed because he slept for long.

The ace filmmaker jocularly stated, he will retaliate Vishal’s act of teasing his sleepiness.

Bala also pulled the leg of Dhananjayan, the South head of UTV Motion picture, the co producer of the film stating that every time Dhananjayan meets him in an event, he will tell "we should work in a film together" only to forget it completely after the meeting.
