Bala regrets not making film with Ajith

Known for his outspokenness, Bala is at his candid best again. The National Award winning director has said that he regrets not working with Ajith in ÂNaan Kadavul as planned.
Remember the film went on floors initially with Ajith playing the protagonist and the actor in fact grew long hair and beard for the role. But both parted ways due to difference of opinion and it was Arya who finally replaced the ÂThalaÂ.
ÂThe mistake is mine. I acted in a kiddish way. I regret for what has happened. But I am not bothered about it, Bala said, answering to questions from readers of a popular Tamil weekly magazine.
The filmmaker has just completed shooting ÂAvan IvanÂ, a film starring Vishal and Arya in lead roles. He is currently busy with post production works of the movie, which is expected to see the light of the day this April.
