Film buffs were in for a sweet surprise when news hit that National Award winning director Bala is going to direct Dhruv, the son of Chiyaan Vikram. The film titled ‘Varma’ will be a remake of the Telugu cult hit ‘Arjun Reddy’.

Now reports are coming in that a National Award winning director is involved in the project. It’s none other than director Raju Murugan who has been roped in as a dialogue writer for ‘Varma’. Raju Murugan has already impressed one and all with his satirical and meaningful writing for ‘Joker’. With his inclusion in ‘Varma’, no doubt that the film will have an amped up life in its content.

The makers of the film have also disclosed that other selections as to the remaining cast and techinicians are on progress and that ‘Varma’ will go on floors possibly this February or March. Meanwhile Bala’s ‘Naachiyaar’ starring Jyothika and G.V.Prakash is all set to hit the screens this February 16.
