Selvaraghavan one of the most influential filmmakers in Tamil cinema made his acting debut recently and appeared in important positive roles in 'Saani Kaayidham' and 'Beast'. It looks like has turned badass in his next movie 'Bakasuran' in which he is apparently the anti hero.
The teaser of 'Bakasuran' has just been released and controversial director Mohan G of 'Draupadi' and 'Rudhra Thandavam' fame is this time emphasizing that parents should be vigilant about what their teenage sons and daughters are doing behind closed doors. Sexual and cyber crimes are obviously the core subject.
Selvaraghavan seems to play the role of a middle aged man who kidnaps and tortures females in revenge. His get up and body language is terrific and is the highpoint of the one minute fourteen seconds clip. Natty Natraj is the cop who is out to get him and there are other familiar faces such as Radharavi, Rajan K, Rams, Saravanan Subbiah, D Gunanithi, Tharakshi, Mansoor Ali Khan, Devadharshini, P L Thennappan, Cool Suresh, Sasi Laya, Lavanya, Pondy Ravi, Kuty Gopi and Arunodhayan.
Sam CS has composed the music for 'Bakasuran' while it is written, produced and directed by Mohan G. The teaser is interesting and at the same time also is suggestive of controversies which should work well for the film during its release.
