While the country's movie lovers are hyped up about the selection of 'Newton' directed by Amit Masurkar as the official entry for the Oscars, some are disappointed that director S.S Rajamouli's magnum opus 'Bahubali 2: The Conclusion' didn't make the cut.
The ace director recently opened up about his feelings regarding his film not being a part of the Oscar race. Expressing that he was not at all disappointed by the fact that the film was not selected, Rajamouli also professed that he doesn't make movies for the sake of awards.
The director told that his only aim when making a movie is to satisfy himself first story-wise and enable his film to reach the maximum number of audiences, making money for everyone that had put their life and blood into the film's making.
"If awards come, then I am happy. If they don't, I don't mind that because they are not at all my criteria," the veteran director said.
