The "Bahishkarana" web series, featuring the talented Anjali in a pivotal role, has unveiled its first look motion poster on Sunday. This eagerly awaited series is set to grace the Zee5 OTT platform soon.
Fresh from her compelling portrayal of a prostitute in the film "Gangs of Godavari," Anjali continues to captivate fans with her versatile acting skills. Despite the movie's performance, her talent shone through. Now, Anjali is gearing up to mesmerize her audience with a robust mass role, not on the silver screen but in the digital realm with "Bahishkarana."
Celebrating Anjali's birthday, the makers released a motion poster from "Bahishkarana," where she is seen brandishing a machete. The poster, featuring a chair engulfed in flames, has quickly become a sensation on social media.
In "Bahishkarana," Anjali is rumored to portray a village woman named Pushpa, showcasing a stark transformation from her previous roles in both films and serials.
Directed by Mukesh Prajapati and produced by Prashanthi Malishetty, "Bahishkarana" also stars Ananya Nagalla, Rabindravijay, and Sritej in significant roles. The series explores the theme of societal humiliation faced by a woman due to the Sarpanch and his followers and her subsequent quest for vengeance.
Zee5 OTT is set to bring "Bahishkarana" to its viewers, with an announcement of the streaming date expected this month. This marks Anjali's fourth web series in Telugu and Tamil languages, following her performances in "Jhansi," "Navarasa," and "Fall."
Anjali's journey began with her Tollywood debut in "Photo" and reached new heights with her blockbuster "Seethammavakitlo Sirimalle Chettu." Despite varying success in subsequent Telugu films like "Balupu" and "Geetanjali," she made notable appearances in special songs and significant roles such as in "Vakeel Saab" alongside Pawan Kalyan.
Currently, Anjali is involved in an important project with Ramcharan-Shankar's "Game Changer." Following her return to Tollywood as a lead in the sequel to "Geetanjali," she continues to establish herself as a natural performer. Her Tamil cinema roles in hits like "Angaditheru" and "Engeyum Epputhum" (Journey) further solidify her reputation as an artist of great versatility.
