Promising Bollywood hero Ayushmann Khurrana has been on a hit delivering spree, as his last few movies like Bareilly Ki Barfi, Shubh Mangal Savdhaan, Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho becoming successful ventures at the box office, with the last 2 cementing his position as a bankable hero.

Now, Ayushmann is all set to don the Khaki for the first time in his career, as he will play a police officer in director Anubhav Sinha's Article 15. The Ra One director had made a return to form last year with the courtroom drama Mulk that had Taapsee Pannu and Rishi Kapoor in lead roles.

Article 15 began shooting on March 1 in Lucknow, and also stars Isha Talwar, Manoj Pahwa, Mohammmed Zeeshan Ayub and Sayani Gupta. The movie reportedly deals with the constitution's Article 15 that prohibits discrimination of citizens based on caste, creed, race, religion or place of birth. Ayushmann's next release will be Dream Girl releasing on September 13.
