With a fantastic career in her past and a great family life with husband actor Suriya and daughter Diya, life has been great for the bubbly beauty Jyothika. It was a conscious and well-thought decision when she said she will not do films after marriage.

But to all our surprise there are reports doing the rounds in Kollywood circles that Jyothika will soon be doing a film. Insiders have said that Jyothika's hubby Suriya will be the producer and it will be a short film. ‘Kanda Naal Mudhal’ V Priya would direct the movie while K V Anand would handle the camera.It was Suriya who had asked Jyothika to do a part in the film, reports indicate.

It is going to be for a social cause that Jyothika will be facing the camera this time. The theme of the short-film is 'Education to Girl Child'. Suriya will also play a part in this film which will also feature actors Vijay and Madhavan, who have agreed to work for this project.

This time the actors are getting together to spread a social message.
