The shoot of Babu Bangaram is currently on in Annapurna Studios. This is a 10-day schedule in which certain scenes will be shot on Venkatesh and others. Post this schedule, two pending songs will be canned.

The first look will be out on April 8, the auspicious day of Ugadi.

The talkie part will, thus, have been done in a matter of ten days. Made largely without much publicity, this film has Venky playing a cop while Nayanatara will be seen in a traditional girl's role. The film is being produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamshi on Sitara Entertainments

Brahmanandam, Brahmaji , and Vennela Kishore are part of the cast. Coming as it does after Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy, the film has been awaited by Maruthi's fans, who are eager to watch how Venky will be presented by the non-conformist filmmaker.
