Babil Khan has decided to tread into the shoes of his father Irrfan Khan. The youngster is currently awaiting the release of his first film titled 'Qala' and it seems like he has already bagged his next project. He will soon be seen collaborating with producer Ronnie Lahiri and master director Shoojit Sircar.

Ronnie Lahiri shared the news through his Instagram account while remembering Irrfan Khan. He shared a bunch of pics with Babil Khan and wrote, "Honoured to take forward your legacy Irrfan sir. Worked with a legend like you, And now Babil. If this is not Providence, what is? @babil.i.k @shoojitsircar @filmsrisingsun." Most of the details about the project are kept under wraps as of now. Shoojit and Ronnie previously collaborated on the film 'Piku' which also starred Irrfan.

In his debut film 'Qala', Babil will be seen alongside Tripti Dimri. The project is produced by Anushka Sharma and directed by Anita
