'Baar Baar Dekho': What's Sidharth Malhotra's character?

Recently the team of Nitya Mehra's film 'Baar Baar Dekho' took off to London. While Katrina Kaif is yet to begin her shooting, Sidharth Malhotra had been spotted in new look and his pics had gone viral shared by fans there.
Sidharth is said to be quite excited over the film's script and his enthusiasm shows in the photos taken during the film's shooting in Glasgow.
What caught everyone's attention, is the ring on Sidharth's finger that's seen in the pic which has girl fans around him - apparently he is playing a married man in 'Baar Baar Dekho'. Even his look here seems to be different from the usual young boy image he wore in his earlier films. Well, this sounds really interesting, eh?
