'Baahubali-The Conclusion' has pulled off yet another blockbuster deal. This is spectacular by any standard. The satellite rights of the Hindi version have been sold out for a whopping Rs. 51 cr, which makes all other non-Bollywood and most Bollywood movies pale in comparison.
This is the third in its record-breaking spree. In what is touted as the biggest selling rights price that a Tollywood product has ever got in a single deal, the theatrical release rights of the movie's four versions (Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam) were recently bought by Great India Films for an astronomical Rs. 45 cr. This is just for the US and Canada markets. Days later, the theatrical rights of the Telugu version were bought by Asian Enterprizes for Rs. 50 cr for Nizam area alone.
If this spree continues, the Rajamouli magnum opus could well make the highest-ever pre-release money by an Indian movie.
