Whatever might be their source, but the English-language media based in Mumbai and Delhi have decided the release date of Baahubali-The Conclusion to be December 25. While the makers themselves have no clue about when the magnum opus will be ready for release, the media have been cooking up a juicy date.

The date is juicy because the offically announced release date of Aamir Khan's Dangal is Dec 25. There is a speculation that Rajamouli wants to make the most of the Christmas and New Year season to create a record of sorts at the BO.

The speculation seems to have an inspiration. Remember Shah Rukh Khan's Dilwale and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani released on the same day in December last? While the former could not make it big in the domestic BO, the latter easily stood the winner. A similarity is that, like Dilwale, Dangal too has a popular social media-driven boycott campaign against it!
