Breaking yet another record, 'Baahubali: The Beginning' becomes the film to have the widest re-release ever.
With more than 900 screens allotted only to its Hindi version, Rajamouli's magnum opus continues its record breaking spree.
Confirming the scale of re-release trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "The Hindi version of #Baahubali [first part] is being re-released in 900 screens in India tomorrow... Screen count could increase."
'Baahubali: The Conclusion' has been in the news for having the audience at a heightened level of anticipation post it's trailer launch. The makers further declared that they are set to re-release of the first installment to the classic franchise, leaving the viewers at the receiving end of yet another treat.
Sharing details on the release of Baahubali: The Beginning, Karan Johar had earlier said, "When a movie continues to be topical for two years, you know people are loving every bit of it! Both, exhibitors and film lovers, have approached us to make Baahubali a binge-watching experience. Hence, we are re-releasing the first part on April 7th with a special offer that takes care of tickets for both parts. We're excited. April will witness the biggest movie event ever!"
With this, Baahubali: The Beginning is all set to hit the silver screens again, 2 weeks prior to the release of the much awaited concluding instalment.
'Baahubali: The Conclusion' is all set to hit cinema halls on April 28th, 2017.
